Female Leadership, Governance, and Community & Peace Building
Wednesday, September 22, 2021, 06:30pm - 08:30pm
Please join us for a rich conversation about female leadership and the important work advancing new ways of leading and governing in our communities and cities.
Together, we will explore what feminine leadership is, what women face as leaders today, the role culture plays, and the obstacles and opportunities for bringing more women and key values into leadership and governance.
In this third and final event in our "21st-Century Activism For Women’s Equity in Governance, Community, and the Law" online series, we will hear from leaders in the movement to establish new principles of governance through the Convention on the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) and the Compassionate Cities movement - two initiatives with transformative promise for women, girls, and communities.
